Aurantium amarae pericarpium Also called "Curacau orange peel", these peels are one of the most popular specialty herbs on the market. They are used commercially by domestic brewers to duplicate the beer styles that put Belgium on the brewing map. While not very bitter, they are a key ingredient in Belgian style white beers.

Bitter orange peel lends a citrusy, herbal aroma commonly used in Belgian beers, as well as other light ales. It's always recommend to use the amount indicated your recipe. For a pronounced flavor use a large amount and for a more subtle flavor use a smaller amount. Recommned dosage time is the last 2-5 minutes of the boil.
